While CHAMP is a generalist investor there are a number of industries in which it has a particular interest. These include sectors such as education, logistics, food and beverage, healthcare, financial services and niche manufacturing. CHAMP aims to invest in businesses with an Enterprise Value between A$100m to A$750m and is happy to utilise co-investment networks for deals where necessary. There is a focus on investing in established companies with strong management teams, good growth prospects and where there is an opportunity for CHAMP to add value to the investment through our experience, expertise and relationships. CHAMP is unique amongst its Australian-based peers in having resources outside of Australia to support its investment programme. This on-the-ground presence in Singapore provides it with a unique insight into portfolio company development opportunities around that region not available to other Australian-based private equity managers. |
